Le Marche is located in central Italy between the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea.
Le Marche are synonymous with genuine Italian hospitality (still little tourism), delicious cuisine, endless rolling hills with picturesque medieval villages.
Compared to other regions, you will find a somewhat more undiscovered, pure Italian atmosphere in Le Marche.
Because of its unique location and landscape, with high mountains, high plains, soft hills, beach and sea, you can truly find all types of holiday in this region. If you like peace and nature, you can enjoy walking routes, hiking in various national parks in the area (Monte Conero, Monte Sibillini, ...).
The highest point in the region is the Monte Vettore with an altitude of 2476 meters, located in the province of Ascoli Pecino. From wherever you look from 'Casa Trifoglio', you always look out on the Monte Vettore which is part of the Monte Sibillini mountains.

With Grottammare, Moresco, Servigliano, Montefiore dell'Aso, Montedinove and Offida there are already 5 of "i borghi più belli d'Italia" (most beautiful villages of Italy) in the nearby area.
In addition, you can attend an outdoor opera at the Sferisterio in Macerata, visit the pilgrimage site of Loreto, the Renaissance city of Urbino, ...
For those who are looking for sport and relaxation, the sporty cyclist will have a great time with quite a few nasty climbs and "strade bianche" or the mountain biker can visit the slopes of the Monte Conero, among others.
As a motorcyclist (scooter rider) you can enjoy the rolling roads, the accompanying curves and enjoy unique views while touring the region.
Those who love sun, sea and water offer the coastline many possibilities.Le Marche coastline is approximately 170 kilometers long and consists of sandy and pebble beaches.
The coastline is fiercely interrupted by rocks in two places; Monte Conero south of the regional capital Ancona, and Monte San Bartolo north of Pesaro.
The closest beach is Pedaso (+/- 30min) from 'Casa Trofoglio', but the sandy beaches of Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto are also easily accessible by car.
